There is a phenomenon, already in existence at the time of the Conte government, which has not changed at all under the Draghi government. We refer to the way in which politicians approach the issue of the Recovery Fund ; to the way in which they tell each other; to the way they praise it to the citizens. And this phenomenon does not pertain so much to the economic or financial dimension – as might be expected from the topic under discussion – but rather to the linguistic, psychological and communicative sphere.

We refer to that aspect now called “narration,“ storytelling ”or“ storytelling ”, as if it were all stuff invented in the 21st century. While, on the other hand, it is a strategy as old as the world, only differently designated and attributable to the broad category of so-called "propaganda". To "propagate" means, roughly speaking , to embellish something to make it more attractive than it is. Politics is, by election (immediately after trade), the favorite terrain of propaganda magicians. Well, there is only one way to expose the propagandists' game: to reveal the tricks they use.
