Also in light of this, it will be essential to combine the revival of steel with the need to guarantee employment for workers who are going through a very long crossing in the desert, including those in Ilva AS who must be part of the agreement's perimeter.
The relaunch will not only take place thanks to investments but also thanks to the workforce, which needs guarantees. As for the workers involved in the most direct perimeter, they come from long years of social safety nets and we must therefore think about how to make them sustainable and integrate them.
This is why we have proposed, and Minister Patuanelli has accepted, that after the signing of the Invitalia co-investment agreement in Arcelor Mittal on 10 December, a table should be set up for the definition of the trade union agreement to accompany this operation with all the subjects involved.
